Car parks quickly filled up on Sunday morning before cars were turned away from areas in Barry Island. Meanwhile Pembrokeshire council had to warn visitors to "be patient and considerate to others" as the crowds emerged.
Unfortunately however the good weather is not here to stay with a weather warning of thunderstorms coming into force across some parts of wales on Wednesday morning.
